Drug Uses

This medicine is used to treat depression and anxiety disorders. This medicine may be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How it Works

This medicine inhibits the return of two chemicals (serotonin and norephinephrine) back into nerve cells. This helps to restore balance of these chemicals which in turn helps to improve mood and relieve depression.

How to Take It

Take this medicine with food either in the morning or evening about the same time every day. Each capsule should be swallowed whole with water and not divided, crushed or placed in water.

Missed Dose

Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double doses.

Storage

Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed.

Pregnancy/Nursing

If you plan on becoming pregnant, talk with your doctor about the benefits vs. the risks while taking this medicine. For nursing mothers, it is unknown whether this medicine is excreted in breast milk. Talk to your doctor if you are or plan to breast feed.
